This event is perfect for the grassroots to gain valuable contest experience, have a networking stage, find new pals, and prove yourself in the freestyle world
The Penken Battle is entirely for the spirit of the community. The good old classics like Red Bull and tea and delicious snacks are provided to keep you fueled for good times.
Again, there are legendary goodies to be won for the Best Trick Awards. The prize money for this year tops everything with a total of 2,500 euros, which will be divided between the participating categories. Nitro, GoPro and TSG have surprises in store again this year and are offering epic non-cash prizes.
At the end of the day, the Penken Battle crowns the winners with a worthy award ceremony where prizes and prize money are distributed - of course, the whole thing is also captured by professional photographers and filmers for your sponsors and socials.
To compete in the Penken Battle, please register online (closes the evening before the comp) and pay the 40 Euros for registration.Note that there will be NO register for late entries – you must be registered online the day before the competition.

The Penken Battle has been partnered with the Ski- and Snowboard Austria and the FIS since 2023. The quality of the park will blow you away mentally and push your skills to new levels. The setup is remarkable with its creativity and perfectly shaped features and ensures tons of airtime and awesome rail sessions.
The Penken Battle is a FIS CUP, meaning participants can stack up FIS points and get ranked in the official FIS register. These FIS points are worth gathering; they’re your ticket to Europe and World Cups. Apply for your personal FIS code in advance from your regional association and catapult yourself into your professional freestyle career.
Note that the event is open to everybody; you don’t have to be registered with FIS to participate!
